Kit Cat came to me November 2002. She had worked most her life on a ranch herding sheep, goats and cattle. She is a fully trained Open Ranch dog. After trying her hand at agility and city life she became depressed. She really missed her freedom and herding livestock. I loaned her to a goat farm where she worked happily. Kit lives in town with me again and is very happy to be back. She'll need her vacations at the farm, but city life isn't so bad either.
Kitty is affectionate in a Golden Retriever kind of way. She just can't get enough rubbing and love from people. She's great with all types of people; age, race & size makes no difference to her. Kitty is also wonderful with dogs. She fits right into the Red-Dawn family.
Kitty's first conformation show was in Arkansas, in April 2004, with handler Lauren Galia. Kitty's litter was born Memorial Weekend 2004. Kitty has lovely flowing and effortless movement. She is a clean moving dog. We're very excited about the pups from her and CH Brackehill's Royal Tartan, Roy. We co-own a male from that litter, Red-Dawn Bling Bling. Also see Cat from the same litter.
